Syncro CEO: Latest Leadership Hires ‘Diverse And Talented’

Syncro’s latest leadership hires show that diversity, equity and inclusion are the foundation of the company and that representation matters.

With the company’s three latest leadership appointments, the executive team is now 70 percent women and 43 percent BIPOC (black, Indigenous and people of color).

She said having a leadership team that shows anyone can attain their goals both motivates employees and benefits partners by ensuring that they have healthy discussions with diverse viewpoints to get the best result.

“I’m very proud to have been able to assemble this team that’s so diverse and talented, and this is what will propel us forward,” Glass said. “I hope it can serve as an example to others, as there’s still more work to do.”

The Seattle-based software company specializing in next-generation MSP platforms appointed Gerry Rice as chief financial officer, Macall Gardner as director of technical support and Kristen Costagliola as chief product and technology officer. With years of MSP experience between them, the new hires will help scale Syncro’s sustainably in 2023 and implement notable feature improvements such as ramping up help desk hours and expediting ticket response times.

Glass said Rice has expertise in SMB SaaS (software-as-a-service) and financial processes that will lead to healthy internal systems and reporting that will benefit MSPs directly through more flexible payment options.

“Gardner’s passion for partners has come through in her career, consistently,” Glass said of the new director of technical support. “She understands what MSPs want, and knows how to scale a support team. Macall is here to build an award-winning support experience and make Syncro support a differentiator.”

She described Costagliola as a rock star and, “knows what good tech looks like.”

“I’m thrilled that Kristen joined Syncro, and we can already see her bringing clarity to our partners and delivering more value, quickly,” Glass said.

The company also announced a refresh to its resource center that enhances its dedication to helping MSPs be more successful.Through the resource center, the company revamped its blog that provides how-to advice, business best practices and tips on how to best leverage Syncro’s tools and features. A new podcast, Workflow for MSPs, was also launched to help MSPs “find their flow” and expertly harness their tech business. Syncro will also be hosting virtual events throughout the year including “Ask Us Anything” sessions and webinars with industry experts.

“Syncro‘s mission is to make life better for MSPs,” Glass said. “With our new and refreshed content programs, we aim to deliver on that mission by giving MSPs practical information for running a better business. Our focus is on exploring ways MSPs can be more efficient and profitable, without a ton of stress. We like to call this ‘hitting your success goals without hitting the wall.’”
