Lenovo Moving Rozanovich To Global Infrastructure Role

Vlad Rozanovich, currently Lenovo’s North American President, is taking over the company’s worldwide infrastructure sales later this month, CRN has learned.

“Lenovo SVP and North America President Vlad Rozanovich will be transitioning to SVP, Worldwide Infrastructure Solutions Group Sales, effective June 16th,” the company confirmed in statement to CRN. “In this role, he will lead Lenovo’s infrastructure sales worldwide.”

Rozanovich will report to Matt Zielinski, executive vice president and President of International Markets at Lenovo.

Zielinski’s own star has been on the rise at Lenovo. Two years ago he was president of Lenovo North America’s Intelligent Devices Group, overseeing the company’s operations in the North America PC market.

“We are thrilled to have Vlad Rozanovich leading our go-to-market charge for the infrastructure business around the world. Vlad brings a wealth of experience in this space, from both his history as corporate vice president, enterprise and server sales at AMD, and the past two years as Lenovo’s North America president, leading the regional infrastructure business there to new heights in his tenure,” Zielinski said in the statement.

During Rozanovich’s time as North American president, Lenovo has grown its global infrastructure market share, and he was unafraid to take on market leader Dell Technologies, telling CRN that Lenovo’s approach to the channel was working.

“We love the idea of the channel partner owning that customer relationship, very unlike Dell, where they are trying to bring everything back in-house and trying to own that customer relationship,” Rozanovich said in a February 2022 interview.

“We have our channel partners owning that customer relationship. If we can make it easier from an IT management or an asset management standpoint, to be that white-glove service behind them, we would be happy to do that,” Rozanovich said in that interview.

Lenovo’s infrastructure business grew 36 percent year over year in fiscal year 2023, and it was the number one provider of high-performance compute, number three in server and fifth in storage, globally.

“We look forward to capturing new opportunities and reaching new heights in our business under Vlad’s leadership,” Zielinski said in the statement.

Rozanovich joined Lenovo in June 2021. He previously spent 24 years at AMD where he was most recently corporate vice president of the Americas region.

Lenovo said it will name a new North America president in the coming weeks.
