Stacey Marx Named AT&T Channel Chief As Hussain Moves To Lead Global Sales
AT&T on Tuesday announced that Stacey Marx will be taking over for Zee Hussain as channel chief.
Marx will now lead AT&T's Partner Solutions indirect channel programs. A sales leader, Marx has spent more than 20 years at Dallas-based AT&T and most recently served as vice president of national business.
Hussain, AT&T's senior vice president and channel chief, will be taking a sales leadership position within AT&T's Global Business unit as senior vice president of finance, healthcare, and industry solutions. Hussain will report to Frank Jules, AT&T's president of global business, according to AT&T.

“AT&T is more dedicated to the channel than ever and this is evidenced by their choice of [Marx] to step in as AT&T Partner Solutions' new leader," Hussain told CRN in an email. "I’m thrilled to be leaving the channel in such great hands."
Hussain called Marx a "dynamic leader" with an outstanding career of sales and operational success. “She is the leader to help guide AT&T Partner Solutions into the next chapter of growth, fueled by innovation and passion for the channel.”
Hussain took over at the helm of AT&T's indirect channel after Brooks McCorcle retired in October 2017. Since then, Hussain has brought AT&T's then-disparate channel programs, including Partner Exchange, Alliance Channel and ACC Business, together under one roof.
Just as Hussain did, Marx will report to Anne Chow, AT&T's president of national business. Prior to her role in the National Business unit, Marx also served as vice president of select accounts, vice president of fiber and opportunity moduled accounts, as well as regional vice president of business integrated services and sales director of small and medium business call centers for AT&T.
AT&T also recently announced that Sara Straley has taken over for Randall Porter as assistant vice president, sales and marketing, for AT&T Partner Exchange.
