Accenture’s Most Highly Compensated Executives In 2021
Fiscal year 2021 was a pivotal year for Accenture, coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic. Here are Accenture’s four most highly compensated executives.
Accenture had a monumental 2021 with $50.5 billion in revenue, up 14 percent from 2020 – and its top executives were rewarded for their efforts in steering the publicly traded firm toward growth.
The Dublin, Ireland-based firm–No. 1 on CRN’s Solution Provider 500 list for 2021– spent $4.2 billion on 46 separate acquisitions and poured $1.1 billion in research and development efforts in its last fiscal year.
Accenture’s fiscal year runs from September 1 to August 31.
The most highly compensated executive, Accenture CEO Julie Sweet, recorded more than $23 million in total compensation, mostly in the form of stock awards, according to the proxy filing filed Dec. 9, 2021. Other executives who made the list include Chief Financial Officer KC McClure and Growth Markets CEO Gianfranco Casati.
CRN reached out to Accenture, which employs 624,000 people worldwide, for comment.

4. KC McClure
Chief Financial Officer
Total FY21 Compensation: $6,938,185
Total FY20 Compensation: $7,307,824
KC McClure was appointed CFO in January 2019 after serving as senior managing director–Business and Commercial Finance. Throughout her 30-year career at Accenture, McClure has held numerous finance leadership roles as well as head of Investor Relations from 2010 to 2016.
For fiscal year 2021, KC McClure’s salary was $6,938,185. Her non-equity incentive plan compensation was $1,990,950, all other compensation of $7,842 and stock awards totaling $3,964,393 brought McClure’s total compensation to $6,938,185.
3. Jean-Marc Ollagnier
Chief Executive Officer-Europe
Total FY21 Compensation: $7,158,592
Total FY20 Compensation: $7,685,954
Jean-Marc Ollagnier has been chief executive officer–Europe since March 2020 and is also a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee. Prior to the CEO role, Ollagnier was group chief executive of Accenture’s Resources group in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America from 2006 to 2011. He was also country managing director of Accenture in France and the Benelux countries.
For fiscal year 2021, Jean-Marc Ollagnier’s salary was $7,158,592. His non-equity incentive plan compensation was $2,236159, all other compensation of $16,956 and stock awards totaling $3,807,586 brought Ollagnier’s total compensation to $7,158,592. Ollagnier is based in Europe and is compensated in euros. His FY21 compensation was converted to U.S. dollars at an exchange rate of 0.83601, which was the average of the monthly translation rates for fiscal 2021.
2. Gianfranco Casati
Chief Executive Officer-Growth Markets

Total FY20 Compensation: $8,047,217
Gianfranco Casati joined Accenture in 1984 and became a partner in 1994. As chief executive officer of Accenture in Growth Markets he oversees Accenture’s business in Asia Pacific, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. He has held his current role since 2014. Previous roles within the company include group chief executive of Accenture’s Products group, managing director of Product’s Europe operating unit and Accenture’s country managing director of Italy.
For fiscal year 2021, Gianfranco Casati’s salary was $7,184,440 His non-equity incentive plan compensation was $2,281,004 all other compensation of $167,368 and stock awards totaling $3,619,024 brought Casati’s total compensation to $7,184,440. Casati is based in Singapore and is compensated in Singapore dollars. His FY21 compensation was converted to U.S. dollars at an exchange rate of 1.34283, which was the average of the monthly translation rates for fiscal 2021.

Julie Sweet has been Accenture’s chief executive officer and member of the Board of Directors since September 2019. In September 2021, she became the chair of the Board. Sweet served as chief executive officer of Accenture’s business in North America from June 2015 to September 2019. Prior to that, she served as Accenture’s general counsel, secretary and chief compliance officer from March 2010 to June 2015. Prior to joining Accenture in 2010, Sweet was a partner in the law firm Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP for 10 years.
For fiscal year 2021, Julie Sweet’s salary was $23,085,391. Her non-equity incentive plan compensation was $5,450,000, all other compensation of $329,645 and stock awards totaling $15,943,246 brought Sweet’s total compensation to $23,085,391.
