30 Hot Products At CES 2017
Ready For Takeoff
Brace yourself: The annual gadget extravaganza that is the Consumer Electronics Show is about to kick off. CES 2017 in Las Vegas will feature thousands of exhibitors, and the tech overload begins with two days of media announcements on Tuesday and Wednesday, followed by showcases and demos in the following days. Products for the smart home, personal computing and mobility, cybersecurity and health care will be among those on display during the show.
Out of the massive number of products set to be showcased at CES, we've singled out 30 products that are poised to make a splash — both from smaller vendors and from big names like Samsung, Intel, and Lenovo.
Here is what's hot this year at CES.

FINsix is the startup behind DART, which the company calls "the world's smallest laptop charger." The DART is much less bulky than typical chargers and weighs a barely noticeable one-fifth of a pound. And the Dart doesn’t sacrifice on power, with an output of 65 watts. At CES 2017, FINsix will be showing off the brand-new DART-C, which works with USB Type-C laptops, such as Apple's MacBook and new MacBook Pro. The DART-C joins the original DART, which works with all major PC brands -- including Dell, HP, Lenovo and Samsung (and comes with nine different tips depending on the laptop you’re using).
Petnet Smart Pet Feeders
In the realm of high-tech pet care, Petnet is a startup offering several connected devices. Two that will be on display at CES 2017 are the SmartBowl and SmartFeeder. The SmartBowl works by having users input data about their pet—such as age, weight and activity level—and then telling owners when they've poured an ideal amount of food into the bowl. The SmartFeeder, meanwhile, brings a more automated approach. Users create a feeding schedule, and the SmartFeeder automatically portions out the right amount of food based on data about their pet.
